AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS

Promotion of various awareness-raising actions, including: campaigns, various illustrations, exhibitions and messages on everyday products.

 

A video was made on positive discipline as an alternative to violence and corporal punishment. This video was shown in strategic locations (schools, kindergardens, congresses, maternity clinics, etc.).

COMPETITION: INTERNATIONAL ADD COMPETITION

This competition aimed to encourage artists, designers and students of marketing or design courses to address the issues of positive discipline and laws against corporal punishment in a creative manner. 

The aim was to raise awareness of the harmful factors of corporal punishment and to demonstrate the children's point of view on this issue. 

 

 

COACHING

Creation of HandsUP'App, to help parents supervise the development of their children and to obtain information and tools to deal with day-to-day situations - according to principles of positive discipline adapted to each stage of development.

 

A discussion Forum was created, where parents and caregivers can participate and share their opinions, difficulties and fears. The interactions are moderated by experts in order to answer the various questions asked and clarify any doubts that may arise.

Final Conference| HandUP TIME FOR INSIGHTS INTO CHILDREN'S RIGHTS

On September 25 2018, the final conference of the Hands Up Project was held in Portuguese Catholic University – Campuz Foz, in Oporto, Portugal.  The event had 2 important moments. During the morning, the presentation of the Project was made by each of the partners and after the coffee break took place a round table of invited national and international experts who focused on children's rights. 
In the afternoon a block of 4 workshops were organized and each participant had the opportunity to choose the two favorites in which he wanted to be present.
